I have always wanted to be a writer but I have never had the confidence to do it. I have always thought to myself, is my grammar good enough, given that English is my second language and what would I be writing about?
Many times I have said to myself, can I really do this, is it not too late and who will be reading my nonsense. Some would say I am probably a non-starter and maybe I am but I have not given up either. Time and time again I have told myself, my specialty would have to be a critic.
I would love to give criticism on several issues as long as I do not step on peoples toes, and I think I would do well critiquing local music and the artistes! I am an ardent fan of the entertainment world and especially the local scene in Uganda and East Africa in General. I enjoy watching all kinds of music shows, TV shows all kinds of competitions as long as they do not put me to sleep...anything in that area am good to go!
I also love the night life, alot of interesting stuff goes on at night that is why I love going out and hanging with friends. I also enjoy interacting with all kind of people especially those with great minds, that is why my second passion is now the internet. It gives me the greatest satisfaction especially if I meet new and interesting people who have lot to offer without asking for anything in return. They are the ones I have learned from for a number of years. I have discovered myself through these wonderful people I met online and in person and I am grateful to God everyday!
This is why all these things have increased my passion for writing! I feel I have alot to tell the world. How can I have my plate full and not eat from it? There are so many people out there who do not have the passion to do anything and am so thankful to God for it.
I would love to write about all the everyday things and smile to myself once so often. Thank you to all those who have encouraged and inspired me all these years..you know who you are, I will always be grateful!
My journey begins here and now!
